Notice of Filing

There will be three local seats up for election in 2026. City of St. Joseph voters will elect the following on the November 3, 2026 General Election Ballot.

One (1) Mayor (2-year term) 
Two (2) City Council Member Seats (4-Year terms)

• Filing period  - July 14th to July 28th, 2026
• Filing fee is $15.00 (non-refundable)
• Withdrawal deadline - July 30, 2026
• Filing for Office can take place at the St. Joseph Government Center, 75 Callaway St E or electronically. Filing documents are located on the right side of this page. Those documents listed as required will need to be submitted to the City Clerk along with the filing fee during the filing period.
